From the moment she walked into the studio, Alex brought a beautiful energy that lit up the room. We chatted about life, and celebrated every single part of her — just as she is.
I had the absolute pleasure of asking her a few questions after her session. Here’s what she shared:
How did you feel before your session with me?
“I felt excited, and then on the morning of a little nervous! I had to tell my fiancé I was doing something else - and I’m never the best at telling porkies, but he didn’t seem to suspect! As soon as I arrived Bec and Lu put me at ease!”
What inspired you to book with me?
“I wanted suprise my fiancé with a special gift on our wedding morning, but also wanted to do something that would be slightly out of my comfort zone… I decided to book because I realised not only would this be a great gift (I know he will love it!) but it is also a way to celebrate my youth and my body how it is now, and boost my confidence. One day I want my great great grandchildren to find them in a dusty attic and be gobsmacked to realise I was a saucepot - haha.”
What was your favourite part of the day?
“I loved chatting with Bex and Lu as I had my hair and make-up done, with a cuppa. They both made me feel really relaxed. The house was beautiful, and Bex helped me feel calm and at home during my shoot. I really enjoyed it all!.”
And how did you feel after?
“I feel amazing after my session! Lu did the best hair and make-up, and I felt gorgeous! Bex was so welcoming and I am really grateful to her for being patient, kind, and encouraging all the way through - and listening to my ideas too! It was really fun. I haven’t stopped smiling since!”
